Prosecutors as Teachers’ Alliance Event On Wednesday, October 10, 2018 Sekolah Pelita Bangsa became the host of Competence Development of School Principals, Elementary and Kindergarten Teachers through event ”Prosecutors as Teachers’ Alliance” and Launching of Cluster Empowerment. The event took place in Pelita Auditorium with over than 150 attendees. Organizer: UPT Education Kec. Kesambi in collaboration with K3S. Invited guests present: • Head of the Cirebon City Prosecutor’s Office: Mr. H. Arifin Hamid, SH, MM. • Head of Cirebon City Education Service: Drs. H. Jaja Sulaeman, M. Pd. • Head of the Cirebon City Education Office: Drs. H. M. Suhaeni Law • Head of Education Unit UPT Kesambi: Bapak Surip, S. E., M. M. • Supervisor of Bina TK and SD of Kesambi District • Public and private School Principals, Elementary and Middle School Teachers within the Kesambi District. The event started with a performance by Yosafat Alvin Kurniadi, a third grade primary student of Pelita Bangsa, who performed expressive poetry reading titled “Honesty and Corruption.” Followed by SD Kristen Plus Penabur Cirebon students’ performance of a socio drama titled “Honesty is Beautiful”. These performances impressed the audience and served as a reminder to instill honesty and anti-corruption in today’s society. Opening speech and greetings were given by Ms. Regina Elisabeth, B. Sc. M. Ed. as the host, Mr. Surip S. E. M. M, Head of UPT Kec. Kesambi as the organizer of the event, followed by the Head of the Cirebon City Service, Mr. Drs. H. Jaja Sulaeman, M. Pd. Mr. Drs. H. Jaja Sulaeman, M. Pd encouraged the audience to prevent corruption as early as possible and praised the kindergarten and elementary grade achievements within UPT Kesambi, encouraging them to maintain and improve their existing achievements. He also took notice of the number of capable human resources from the Kesambi District, he further encouraged school principals and teachers to build a smart and characterized education system. This activity is then followed by speech from Head of the Cirebon City prosecutor’s office Mr. H. Arifin Hamid, S. H., M.H. He expressed appreciation for the student’s performance at the beginning of the event and explained about the concept of ”Prosecutors as Teachers’ Alliance” and the honesty canteen.
